On Wednesday October 2, students visited the Robert McCormick home and First Division Museum on the Cantigny Estate in Wheaton. Robert McCormick was the long-time owner/editor of the Chicago Tribune and established WGN radio and television stations. McCormick left his wealth to a foundation to honor the First Division with which he served during World War I. The trip included a tour of the McCormick home and grounds with tanks from various period os US military service. The was museum provides an interactive tour of the military contributions of the First Division from World War I to the Gulf War. You can view pictures of the day in the Image Galleries.
