The MN community is rallying around the Patrick Abraham Healing Foundation with a charity volleyball tournament in early February. The following is a letter received from former MN student Andrew Clark who is involved with the foundation and the tournament. We invite everyone to join in any way you feel most comfortable. And if you would like to enter a team for the tournament, attached is the flyer for you also.
I am writing to you because I am organizing a charity volleyball tournament for the Patrick Abraham Healing Foundation and I ask that you consider contributing to this cause. Patrick Abraham was a close friend of mine in Middle school and unfortunately lost his battle with Lymphoma Cancer. His family started a foundation in his name to help families that are going through the horror that they endured. They have been able to help a few families; however, due to a lack of funding they haven’t had much luck as of late. The family received love, support, and financial assistance from others throughout Patrick’s battle. I want to help them pay it forward to A LOT of other families by raising at least $5,000 for their foundation. The Abrahams have become a second family to me, and I know that with your support we can help their foundation flourish.

The event will be held on February 21st, 2015 at Middle School North. I hope we can help this cause and raise as much money as possible. Thank you so much for your consideration! And thank you for helping me spread the word.
