About MSN

At Hawthorn Middle North, we understand that young adolescence is a crucial time for students, and we’re dedicated to meeting their unique needs. Our goal is to make the next three years at Middle School North an unforgettable experience!

We are committed to fostering both academic and social growth, helping our students become the independent individuals they aspire to be. Our staff works diligently to differentiate instruction, challenging students to grow and succeed. With a diverse curriculum that includes options like learning Spanish or continuing in the Dual Language program, we ensure every student has the opportunity to expand their horizons. 

We offer a wide variety of before- and after-school clubs, activities, and sports, encouraging students to explore their interests. ALL are welcome! We are proud to have teams and clubs that compete regionally and at the state level in everything from basketball to Science Olympiad, Garden Club to Jazz Band, and much more.
